We created this site so it needs almost nothing from you. Here is exactly what it requires.
How the calculator handles your numbers
Any rent, payment and loan figures you enter remain in your browser. Your device handles the math. Nothing you type reaches us, and closing or reloading the page removes the figures.
Visit records we keep
Standard server logs are kept by our hosting provider. They show the requested page, the time, the referring page and the browser's user agent and IP address. One of our own short scripts reports to our server the page viewed, the site that referred you, whether the calculator returned a result and the outside link followed. No calculator figures are sent, and no identifier is set.
These records help us run the site and learn which pages people read. Cookies are not set. We do not use advertising or analytics services run by other companies, and no scripts, fonts or images are loaded from other websites.
Personal information: sale or sharing
We do not sell personal information. We also do not pass it to anyone for advertising, so no opt-out is needed. Should that ever change, the opt-out will appear in this section before the change begins.
Lender links
Each lender's own website appears in our lender table through a link. What you do after following one of these links falls under that lender's privacy policy. We do not attach anything to the link that would identify you.
Requests and questions
To learn what we keep on file about a visit, or to get server records about you erased, e-mail contact@dscr-loan.org. Server logs are kept for a limited period before we delete them.
